Anastasija RomanLOD

Academic Year: 2021/2022
The project’s aim is to model an organized linked open data environment that connects concepts, items, people, places, events and, more generally, data and information about Anastasija Romanov, in the most interoperable and semantically meaningful way possible. In order to do that, we explored the possibilities offered by the technologies used in Semantic Web, such as vocabularies, ontologies, RDF and URIs.

Shakespeare With XML And XSLT

Academic Year: 2021/2022
Shakespeare with XML and XSLT allows to read articles while travelling in time through six historical typographical and layout styles that span over five hundred years: 1600, 1890, 1920, 1950, 1990, 2040. The three texts of Shakespeare, The Comedy Of Errors, The Tempest and Two Gentlemen of Verona, have been first annotated with the TEI standard and then transformed through XSLT. Explore our website to experience a new way of reading!

AlexOntology

Academic Year: 2021/2022
Starting from the article Alexithymia: a general deficit of interoception, we proceeded by writing some competency questions. As a second step, we identified the classes, properties and individuals in order to build our ontology through Protégé, and we exported our ontology in owl format. Then we extracted from the owl file the individuals in order to get a graphical visualization of our Knowledge Graph. As a last step, we translated the Natural Language Competency Questions into SPARQL queries.
