SkŁODowska is a Linked Open Data project focused on Marie Curie and the most relevant aspects that characterized her life. 11 items coming from (and described on the Web by) archives, libraries, and museums have been chosen and semantically connected with people, events, places, and concepts somehow related to our topic. The final result is a network of information able to depict the scientist's profile and life story.

The aim of this work is to highlight how gender related issues are treated in Victorian Children’s Literature by analyzing a corpus of books from that period by means of distant reading methods. We propose an analysis that could be considered complementary to the ones already realized with close reading and more qualitative methods of inquiry.
