The goal of the course project is to map the 188 cognitive biases as listed in Cognitive Biases Codex, using the technologies developed in the Semantic Web community, creating an ontology that would allow to describe these cognitive phenomena. This group focuses its work only on a part of it, namely “We simplify probabilities and numbers to make them easier to think about”, “We think we know what other people are thinking”.

Interaction Media Design
This project involves the development of a demo for an interactive experience to be included in the Giovanni Capellini Museum in Bologna. It consists of an interactive story that can be undertaken by one or two users and revolves around the encounter between Giovanni Capellini, a geologist and the museum's creator, and Native American populations during his trip in North America.

Metascript is an open source tool that provides a basic textual analysis framework dedicated to the comparison between an original text (novel, short story etc.) and its film transposition (film script). The goal of Metascript is to provide a guideline for the markup and metadata approach of different but connected texts such as a book with its script for audiovisual transposition.

Natural Language Processing
BERTolde is the final project for the exam of "Natural Language Processing". This project involves fine-tuning and evaluating the performance of four different models—BERT for Italian, RoBERTa-xlm, GilBERTo, and UmBERTo—for Named Entity Recognition in the Italian language starting from the EVALITA 2009 dataset which contains journal articles of "L'Adige".

Semantic Digital Libraries
For the final project of the "Semantic Digital Libraries" course, we utilized Transkribus to develop two models capable of automatically recognizing the handwriting of two of Aldrovandi's copyists.
