The Elvis Database (Electronic Locator of Vertical Interval Successions) includes 2853 Pieces and 3358 Movements by 404 Composers. It is possible to search for music in different file formats, including MEI, MusicXML, MIDI, and others, and to download pieces to analyze with software such as music21. It is also possible contribute to the database by uploading files, via registration. Detailed metadata accompanies files on the database, including fields such as date and place of composition, musical genre, and instrumentation.
