La Dolce Vita

La Dolce Vita - Linked Open Data was developed on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the release of the film "La Dolce Vita". The project focuses on the production and distribution of this cult film directed by Federico Fellini in 1960 through the analysis of the metadata standards provided by the institutions from which we selected 10 items of different types (from archives, museums, libraries) representing different aspects of the film.

DIVO (Dante Inferno V Ontology) is a specific ontology for the analysis of the Divina Commedia. The aim of the project is to extract knowledge from Divina Commedia of Dante. In particular we have chosen to examine Inferno, Canto V and to convert knowledge into a Link Open Data environment. It is populated with the data of Canto V, but it can be used to analyze all the other Canti.

Nice To MET You

Academic Year: 2018/2019
"Nice to MET you" focused on the tradition of rust printing on fabric, once practiced in rural areas of Romagna. Rust printing is an art that is gradually disappearing and only a few people know the technique of realization. The idea is developed within two rooms of the MET - Museo Etnografico degli Usi e Costumi della Gente di Romagna, from which the project takes its name.

Parallels

Academic Year: 2018/2019
The TTTT project - Trans-historical Typographic Theming Tour-de-force - is a framework to easily deploy documents according to historically accurate page design. The purpose of the project is to create several word-switchable themes that are historically accurate. In Parallels every detail such as the font family, font size, colors, margins, page size, images and captions are designed to exactly remind the reader of a specific historical design style.

Spazio Giovani Bologna

Academic Year: 2019/2020
The project deals with ​Spazio Giovani,​ a dedicated space inside the family counselling centre, reserved for young people from 14 to 19. The service is free access and offers an environment where young people can face problems related to sexuality, affective and relational life, as well as gynecological problems, contraception and prevention. The service is also aimed at adults of reference for young people: parents, teachers, educators and sports coaches.

Taffo Funeral Services

Academic Year: 2019/2020
The case study chosen concerns Taffo Funeral Services, a historical funeral home with more than 70 years of activity, operating in Rome. The funeral agency has undertaken strong web advertising campaigns since 2017. The Social Media Manager of the agency constantly creates provocative advertising on the theme of death, using current topics. The fame of Taffo is due to the irreverent use of social media to promote services for dead, which is difficult to put on the web.
